Want to hold an event in your shop? The Fabric Shop Network makes it simple for you. They have created an “Event Kit” for six events every year. Each Event Kit contains all the marketing and advertising materials that you’ll need to hold a successful event. The Event Kit offers three in-store activity ideas. Use the activity suggestions out-of-the-box or make changes to create a celebration that will fit your shop’s unique personality and appeal to your customers.
Using the Event Kit materials, you’ll find it easy and inexpensive to hold an event that will create buzz and bring your customers in to join the fun. We hope you’ll join with local, independent quilt and fabric shops from around the world and register to be a participating shop.
When you register, we’ll grant you access to everything you’ll need to run a successful event:
1) a promotional timeline and checklist to get you started quickly and keep you on track;
2) posters, postcards, bag stuffers, and “Bonus Bucks” to help you promote the event;
3) web logos and a Facebook header to connect with your community online, and
3) a 3-step email campaign and weekly social media posts plus a press release designed to be customized and to spread the word about your shop’s celebration.
As a participating shop, you’ll also be listed on this website which is actively publicized by The Fabric Shop Network.
